i use this to keep light out of my work area. i use 3d resin which cures in UV light, so this covering up my window works great.I needed a good blackout curtain for my daughter's room because she keeps pulling her normal curtains on the rod and ruining the wall. I am worried it will fall down on her head. I have tried the paper blackout blinds before and they are overpriced junk that just fall down anyway. These on the other hand are a perfect alternative and even renter-friendly. I wish I had these when I used to rent. I take them off the velcro every morning and then tack them on every night and it works just how I want. The adhesive stays even in the summer heat. It has an extra one just in case and even a cute little cord if you want to tie it up instead of taking it down. I highly recommend this as an alternative to normal curtains! And the blackout is legit. It's not like crappy thin Walmart ones.The black out curtain is super easy to install. All you have to do is remove wrapper and stick to the wall! Super strong and blocks out so much light! Inly negative is the scalloped edges, not my style but works great and easy to put up on wall or trim.The adhesive tape didn't stick to my textured walls so i just nail it to the wall.I hung this in my bedroom to keep the light out in the morning and it works great!These curtains work. Just be careful as you install/uninstall them. The velcro strip removed the paint off my wall above the window. We had to be careful not to remove more paint as we adjusted it to make it straight. But once it was up, it was great. I used it to block light from my office window so I could control the light while making videos.Great idea, is really working to eliminate so much heat in the room. Easy to install or take with me since I’m in an apartment! Stays up just fine!!Actually blocks the light, the velcro came off my wall once but unsure if something fell against it in my closet or it came unstuck on its own, no issues since and considering it went right back up it wasn’t a big deal anyways. Thought it would be slightly wider as I only have standard size windows, but it covers inside my window panes and does it’s job for a closet.
