Bought these to cover a kitchen window that isn't airtight and was letting cold air into the room. They're doing a great job of keeping the cold air contained. They're definitely room darkening, almost blackout dark. But they're very stiff and don't fall into nice folds. I washed them, then ironed, but they're still wrinkled. I'd hoped the wrinkles would fall out of them, but they haven't because of the stiffness. I put a matching pair on the kitchen door, and they look nice. The color is very good in my kitchen. Bottom line is that they do what I need them to do, but I'm only going to use them for the winter. Ours are the 45" length; in a longer length, they may fall a little bit more attractively.Material is more of a canvas type. Great room darkening. Not a heavy material. Doesn't hang well. Hope after a few more washing's the material will relax more.I bought one set but the color brown was too dark, so I sent them back and ordered chocolate brown, which is lighter and warmer.Although the washing directions are a little odd (it says to take them to a commercial laundry if the panels don't move freely in your washer). It's a little hard to get the folds out because directions say to wash on delicate in cold water but don't tumble dry or iron. I washed as directed, put them in the dryer on Air, took them out and laid them flat, warmed the dryer, and smoothed them flat. Hopefully they'll be damp when I drive out to my travel trailer tomorrow to hang them.I'm fine with fabric quality although wonder about its blackout capability since they are lightweight.I do have one complaint. I bought 10 sets. Nine sets came in one box and one set came in its own box. All say they are chocolate brown, but the single set is dark brown. I guess they came from another manufacturer, which makes me wonder if the return of this single set will be a problem.I'm determined to make this work because it's very hard to find blackout curtains in the 24" length I need.Used these in our Rv. Lightweight and darkening.They were not black out curtains to my standards I returned mine but they were cute.They are made with quality material and a super thick. Definitely block all light. But one thing is they are super stiff.Not attractive, as the stiff fabric doesn't fold naturally, or at all for that matter, but they do the job.This curtain arrived quickly and looks great in my bathroom window. My bathroom window is small so I only needed to put up the one panel. I will save the extra panel for a backup.Got these for our nursery. They do a perfect job making the room dark so the baby can nap on a sunny day. If I needed another blackout curtain I would buy from this seller again.Material is a bit stiff and doesnt feel the greatest but it blocks out the light great.Hopefully over time they become a bit easier to work withI believe they are blackout (light only comes from around the edges. These aren't see thru under any condition so they're great for privacyBought them for my travel trailer windows.
