It is very cute and for the price it’s 100% worth it! I’ve put a lot of weight on top, before my shelves were built…flour, sugar, etc and it held all 7-8 of my containers without breaking. If you are browsing and can’t decide, it’s worth it! I promise.Item is as described. Only problem with item was the wheels not being sturdy. After putting cart/island together, rolled into kitchen on hardwood floor and wheels not turning easily. Appears that cart is slightly uneven and wheels not contacting floor so have to push down on front of cart to contact with floor so they turn. When pushing straight, it does roll. Then when turning to roll sideways, not all wheels rotate meaning one wheel is dragging crossways and have to manually rotate the wheel to roll cart. Not planning on doing a lot of rolling so not a huge issue, just enough of issue to dock a few stars.Arrived before I expected it. Putting it together was a bit of a chore. Some of the dowel holes were drilled a bit to deep but worked. As a former cabinet builder I suggest adding a bit of glue to the dowels to hold them better. It looks great and is working for what we needed which was more counter space.I bought this as a replacement for a very similar kitchen island cart made by another brand that fell apart after a decade of light-moderate usage. I had high hopes for the Crosely given the many good reviews here on Amazon. It seemed like a better made piece of furniture by a known, reputable brand (note that I bought my former cart at Big Lots). Well, I'd say the two are neck and neck for quality, which doesn't leave me too hopeful that this one will last any longer. Actually the older one had better hardware and some other nicer features, like a knife block and steel bars on the spice rack. One of the Crosley's casters leaked out its ball bearings as soon as the package was opened, so it wouldn't swivel. My handy-man friend who put this together for me was able to use the casters from my old cart, thank goodness. They are much heavier and sturdier. The Crosley's are smaller and flimsier. I was also disappointed in the size of the drawers on the Crosley, plus one of them jiggles around a lot and it's especially annoying to open and close. We tried everything and nothing improved it. There was no reason they couldn't have made the drawers a little longer - there is plenty of room for it. My old cart, which had the exact same dimensions as this one had drawers one inch longer, plus they opened more. These drawers barely open half way. Then to add to my dissatisfaction, I just found out that the price went down over $20 since I purchased mine not that long ago, and Amazon does not offer price adjustments anymore. My husband and I are without an income since the pandemic so it's not like I have that kind of money to waste. I think I should get a partial refund anyway for the broken castor and wobbly drawer. I hope someone from Crosley responds to this with a solution.ETA: Crosley would not issue any partial refund and referred me to Amazon, so I went through them and they did. Since then one side of the towel bar has become very wobbly - probably a result of a faulty pin/fastener. We have hardly used the towel bar so this is just another testament to the substandard hardware that this comes with. I am living with it for now because I don't want any more handymen in my house right now due to Covid concerns.I was pleasantly surprised that this item was shipped within a few days, but unhappy that they left the 2 pieces sitting on my porch instead of getting a signature. Anyways, there was not any damaged pieces once I took everything out of the boxes. First, you should make sure you have another person (not someone scrawny either) and an electric screw gun to decrease the amount of time it will take you to put this cart together. It took me almost 3 hours to put this cart together because it's actually not wood but some sort of MDF product that has the outside appearance of wood. Once you try to put the screws into the pre-drilled holes in the first 3 pieces/steps you will see that it will strip the mdf and the pieces will not stay together. After an hour of trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, I finally took out some extra screws I had laying around that were larger in diameter than the screws included with the cart. So, finally after getting the base put together, I moved rather quickly until I needed my husband to help put the granite on. I am average sized woman, with good upper body st strength, but I did not realize how heavy granite was until i tried to lift it. Also, I really wish manufactures would get rid of those cheap cam locks. They do not tighten well and eventually need retightening to ensure that the product doesn't fall apart. Overall, it looks beautiful and it serves the purpose for extra counter space and storage; especially if you live in a small apartment like we do in NYC where space is a commodity. I wish I had paid extra and gotten the cart with the legs because I do not plan on moving it anytime soon and the wheels look cheap.***Update 8/9/2011***This cart is cheap. I noticed after cleaning it several times that there are many flaws in the wood. Also, the side shelves for the towel and spices are flimsy and weak; requiring weekly tightening to ensure that it does not leave all your items on the floor. Also, most frustratingly for me is the fact that the far right cabinet door will not stay inside, and I find the door on the kitchen floor daily because when we close it it falls out of the cabinet. It seems that the hardware is poorly made, and is not the correct length. I contacted the seller and am requesting a replacement piece, but we will see what happens soon. I mean overall, there was no visible damages that would leave me to request replacements when the items were delivered to my apartment, but I haven't been home recently to notice it. I just recently started to use the cabinet and that's when I noticed that the door comes completely unhinged after it closes. I am really disappointed in the quality of the wood and craftsmanship because the item was very expensive. I should have just gotten a cart from Home Depot or Lowes. Oh well, I guess it's only temporary until we move. I am still sad though because I put a lot of time and effort into putting this piece together :(Was prepared to purchase a different unit elsewhere however they were out of stock. Pricey but Hunny said to go for it. Took a bit of time to assemble. The unit was Very Well Packaged, No issues at all with the stone top. Chose to not use the towel rack or spice rack and it is being used in my dining room as a buffet. Extremely sturdy. So glad I chose to go with it.I can say that shipment arrived in great condition and fast. The workmanship of the product and quality is very good. Easy to assemble. Nice stile, design and finish. Only one setback, had to put extra layer of lacquer on wood top for better protection. And prevent sagging added two more casters to the bottom (middle).I used this as a sideboard for our dining room. Perfect for all of our decor. To have extra cabinet and counter space in the kitchen. This is a beautiful product and well worth the money. Easy to assemble and very practical. The only thing that would improve it is having two wide cupboards rather than one wide and two narrow.Section D was not in good shape poor finish on the outside . Cymax has sent another section ,but it is held up in the Usa due to ice storm. Did not take long for my two sons to assemble . My wife loves it .
